Why is this happening?

Why the beautiful clouds first
if the storm is coming later
sometimes I think
why does the green leaf come first
if the tree is uprooted by the storm
sometimes I think
why was the tiny bird singing the beautiful song in the tree first
if it was to go to the cat's belly later
sometimes I think
what happens in this world
that happens by accident
uncertain and because
it's a world of wonder
