Time is a thief with a painter's brush.

Time is a thief with a painter's brush
Gently, covers up past pains and regrets in the golden dusk
Waits for no one and never come back.
Brings it all
Takes it all
Leaving shadows of life that we had known.
Time is a burglar
Quietly mounts minute by minute into a block
Doesn’t see why he may not mount another hour
After all, he will never be caught.
Time is a grand larcenist
like a lead vocalist under the rhythm of a guitar
fires a prominent melody
Leaving nothing behind but shy footnotes in your memoir.

    Yes
    I must confess
    I am a painting artist
    A photographer, a humanitist
Time is a thief, with a painters brush
Poetic lyrics, melody, achieved to easily
Enter my heart, an empowering, strong gush
That touched the love in my soul that percieves
I shall spread my light, bright, live, love, laugh
As if it may be my last, to have an abundance
    Of gratitude, for life's magnanimous
Gift of the time, we do have today
To use a brush to paint what you
    Want your tomorrow to be
    To paint, what you wish
    To see, to be happy
    To bathe in bliss
    Time won't miss
    A beat, defeat

    Time by, simply
    Painting time away
    And gloriously embrace each day
Using new bold strokes to create the
Magic you see, when you paint freely
    That passion, that love of
    Painting rises above
    Everything
    So I sing
    Thanks

    Painting reins
    Over time, but do know
When your time, buldges in your veins
Gracefully, gonwith the flow, nothing remains
The same, your not dying here today
You are flying away, to begin anew
To paint things never seen, in ways
Time didn't allow you to see
    To paint your humanity
    Differently

    Much Love ❤️ Iron Donato
