About FR&DA Prof. Balu Prakash, Founder Chairman & Director General, FR&DA: A BITS-Pilani M.Sc(TECH) Science & Technology Development (Specialised in Research & Development Management) & Gandhigram University M.Phil (Futures Studies), with Research, Teaching & Management experience from Industry, Business & Institutions including Administrative Staff College of India, Harrisons Malayalam, Colgate Palmolive C&F, Entrepreneurship, Services & Visits to several Universities within & outside India, came to A&N Islands after the Tsunami of 26th December 2004 as Project In-Charge of NGO - Bharatiya Jain Sangathana (BJS) that accomplished yeomen services - duly appreciated by the President of India, Hon. Lt. Governor, A&N Administration and public at large. Nature’s Beauty, Societal Integration as Mini-India and potential for A&N Islands to develop like Singapore, were the inspiration to settle down at Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar since 16th September 2010 to establish the Dream Non-Profit Think-Tank Project with a gestation period of nearly 40 years ‘Futures Research & Development Academy (FR&DA)’ – precursor to the international FR&DA UNIVERSITY, at the Southernmost Frontier of India in Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Ever since, in the last 4329 days, dedicated all services to the people of Great Nicobar in a humble way without ever travelling outside and shall continue to do so till the end, after which the mortal body is pledged to be donated to the Andaman Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Port Blair for Organs Transplant & Medical Research. more…
