Beauty

What a loss, of beauty,
Is it true?, That the face doesn't last?
The attractive face doesn't last in the sight but in thy heart?
Woke up to be a cute baby, born,
But slept off permanently with a wrinkled face.

During the days, the young days,
The sun shining on thy great skin,
The moon admiring it's beauty on thy face,
The so much attractiveness of friends, true or not true, bad or good, as long as you have the beauty on the face.

Enjoying much opportunities coming your ways, because beauty doing it work.
Lots of favours coming in for you,
Lots of lending hands for you,
Lots of compliments on you.

But now time has come, beauty has to go.
It has to fade, wrinkles taking over,
Loss of new white teeths to broken scattered teeth dominating,
Black and beautiful bountiful hair changing to white and grey,
No more two legs to wear heels,
Now three-four legs helping to walk,
That once happy smile showing those white set teeths to complimenters,
Are those resembling a witch wicked smiles with crooked teeths.
Now the time to be called a witch as arrived, no more in comparison to an angel.

About this poem

Beauty is a poem used to express it's not long lasting attractiveness as human beings have short limited time on earth so does the beauty on the face, comparing it beauty on the face on a young lady to that on an old woman.
