Arduous blue
Motheo TheYouthPoet 2004 (Polokwane)
I don't know the taste of real love,
But I know it all comes with dreary from a flying dove.
I once had a dream of it,
Infact, do I really need it?
Why should I be retrieving all the good gasps?
Because I know I don't deserve the good mood and the warmness of wasps.
I love you but I'm scared of loosing you.
I need you but I'm not ready to fall in love with you.
I so wish my heart was a bike made without some elbow pads,
So my scars could tell how I used to fall for you back in the past.
The ancient sides, well life goes on.
I can easily feel that there's something missing in my life,
But it's much harder to tell what it really is.
I know the shimmers from the falls are calling,
I just want to tell them we're all good but not for grasp because I want you somewhere near me.
You must bearly know I can't shake the shimmer off from my eyes,
Because I keep on staring at you.
I once taught you about the believe,
But you took most of it to the breeze.
Nasty, hasty, gasty puddles.
Switch your heart but make it arduous,
I said choose a colour, and you gave me blue.
