To Wonder Less

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

To leave what is left to be.
And to know what is left to leave,
Can and will change...
If seen in one's mind differently.
Especially if what is to be,
Has nothing to do...
With others living their own lives.
Minding their own business.
And doing it better to wonder less,
Who is doing what, when, how and why.
Like the ones stressed out.
About something,
They complain about.
That has nothing to do with them.
Yet trying their best,
To find ways to stay up in others' butts!

To wonder less,
No doctor has yet to recommend or suggest...
If done,
Prescribed medication...
And the billing of co-pays.
With interest added if not paid in full.
Would no longer be needed to cure,
The minds of people...
With their noses up where they don't belong!

'People do have valid illnesses!'

'And this...
I had been personally told.
Before I discovered a remedy,
And an honest doctor...
I argued with.
Who eventually shared,
A reality I stopped refusing myself to see.
Wondering about this and that,
To believe I needed to keep updated.
This done to do,
Can cause rest nor peaceful sleep to get.
Since...
Growing older does not mean,
I am immune from learning a lesson or two.'
