The Good Samaritan

Today the Gospel was about The Good Samaritan.
Jesus tells his followers to love their neighbor.
They ask who is my neighbor?
Jesus tells them a parable to show them
that all men are their neighbor.
Jesus shows them that loving thy neighbor
means to help them when they are in need.
The priest gives his sermon by comparing
parts of the parable to Jesus, sin, the church, and
forgiveness instead of what the parable was about.
The sermon should have been about loving your neighbor
and helping them when they are in need.
It should have been about the fact that all people
are our neighbors.
Jesus said that you should have Faith, Hope and
Charity, but that Charity is the most important of all.
For if you have Faith and Hope without Charity
you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
