T.O.X.I.C - but not really

T. Truthfully speaking, you are freed from it
O. Organically, at its spiritual root, so it seems
X. Xtra vigilant in exercising boundaries
I. Indeed, Incredibly Insightfully Indolent
C. Carefully cheery, your peaceful disposition

About this poem

I immediately felt inspired to write this poem while I was on the train on my way to work, while listening to a YouTube video. It was about ways to identify a toxic person, and I decided to write about what happens when you walk away from a toxic relationship of any kind, using the acronym of TOXIC.

I like this. I think that word is overly asserted onto good people at times and this to me is a nice reminder of how to see the good.

Yeah, toxicity of any kind is not what I advise anyone to tolerate, but humans has different spirits within them and birds of the same feathers still bond together so it must be healing to many.
