Emotional misery
Desmond muzite 2002 (Rusape)
No matter how high the temperature is,
The cooker will never feel the hit
Of the fire but a pot will, unless if he step
on its coal. And those on the seas
will never feel
the pain for those in the desert neither will
they care for its striving.
Today it is you stepping on the fire.
Today it is you in the desert and Marry
We have been through this for years.
Now it is you facing the reality and
Nobody is there when you are
harvesting your thorns.
The pain started slowly like
chitubu and spread on the whole
body like veld fire. People only see a
living grave and remain silent
not knowing the woman had
no right for her babies.
They gave you deadly poison and stay back
watching you dying slowly like a wild grass
The poison was like acid , as it eats the flesh
and root out the bones. Time to see the truth
Time to choose the right path.
Time to choose the right leader
How can l sympathize with ZANU PF
They say liberty and svoboda to the
Youth while we don’t have jobs,
They say soil and exemption to the women
While Mary Chiwenga is living in infernal region
Now how can a dog protect a rabbit
when he’s eating his own family?
