In Between

Joseph Sweetsir 2006 (Kentucky)

Do or do not I won't be thought of creating the entirety of love brought into those of the lot.
I deny everything of the ones of the delaying and underneath those I will not pose.
Vikings and Pagans, and Christians and Scottish, all combined in the humanity of Great Britain. Meeting under death but brought together in life. I can't deny that we are alike.
I want to live and don’t want to die but I have nobody with me to keep me abide.
I do not hide, i do not cry, i do not dry, but I do deny-
That I am weak and not enough because I am, underneath the cove.
Creating tension and creating love I am not the connection between the loves and the doves. Like Master chief and cortana, I am not, But those like Emily that fall for enemies up above.
I do answer honestly even if I lie, but believing the treaty I believe in tonight.
Like Albert Einstein and John d'rockefeller, I grow and continue on towards the holler.
Even failing, I do not die, yet I'm tailing but not from behind.
Through the gates I shall be free, I believe in the three; Adam and Eve.
Lucifer and god-- all of them connected..
In the name of love and the beheaded.

About this poem

To be honest, I can't explain it. Mostly because I see multiple different ways to look at it.
