Perhaps

Perhaps

Perhaps it's the newness of feelings forgotten
A Summer when once I sang loud and often
Brings back smiles and warmth at the thought of someone's arms
Life's excitement of each new day is hope's charm

Why would anyone want for more
For what are we really here for
Hidden treasures come and go
Perhaps we need to them know

Forget the boundaries and ties that bind
Allow yourself the purest love of all time

Listen to your heart
Allow it to dance
You may just find an amazing chance

All protocol say's no, don't allow this to show
Must have been decided by some forgotten foe

Who's to say whats right or wrong
Perhaps will never be my song

When one's heart sings it brings
The joys of life and love
The spark the ignites the soul
For all to behold

Where does this come from, but within
From pure love, love begins
How rich are we
When we allow ourselves to BE!
