Crying Kernels

Yesterday I tripped
I tripped over my own mind
Yesterday I ran and,
Made friends with rope and twine

But it's okay,

I have my mind now
And minutes are the past
I have my mind now
I'm glad my thoughts came back.

But out of the corn I came,
And learned something that I needed
Took my past thoughts and broke them,
Mark my words,
NEVER live for another being.
