Her Beautiful Hurt

I know that i'll miss your smile
And your eyes all alike
The pain that shines through
I've never seen pain of that type

Your doing so good
Not hurting your wrists
Your breathing everyday
Me and your lungs insist

You do not have to grin
Because you feel it necessary
You do not have to love
I know your heart is still weary

How many people have hurt you
How many moments glazed over
For the sake of your mother
And the chip on her shoulder

How many breaths pushed aside
Because you want them forgotten
How many tears never cried
That left your eyes haunted

Your movements have no reason
To be loving and kind
People took that from you
But you return it with a smile

Your eyes they watch
Other people's pain
They can relate to the ping pong
Dancing around in your brain

Oh and,
The tears in your eyes
Are cloudy and  hurt
You cry a salty brown
For they were rubbed in the dirt

And your wounds do not stop bleeding
For they are to deep
But my love
You do not have to make more
Because I feel
And I see

If I were to look at you
Even without scars
I would see the blossom on your heart
Rooted so deep and so far

You were pushed aside
Yet that was the only thing watered
Your chances were butchered
A kid put to slaughter

A Greedy man
Blemished your life
But what corrupted your eyes more
Is a mother
Who lies
