I'll be prepared
Kylee Brankin 2008 (Lagrange)
The days that I don’t see you,
The days that I don’t feel your touch,
Are the days I feel I miss you most,
Are the days I feel alone,
So the days that I don’t see you I wonder where you are,
Are you laying in bed sleeping,
Are you walking thru the park,
Or Are you by yourself,
alone in the dark,
Or are you with someone else walking in the rain,
Dreading the day you know you have to tell me,
Dreading the day you’ll see me in pain,
Because You know that when you tell me that your heart belongs to someone else,
My heart will brake in two,
I’ll feel like I’m in hell,
But I can’t say I didn’t see it coming,
I can’t say I didn’t see the sines,
Because you started going out more,
You started coming back later at night,
But I’ll be fine I promise,
I’ll get over you soon,
I just hope she doesn’t give your heart away,
I hope she doesn’t break your heart in two,
because trust me when I say,
The pain you feel when someone breaks your heart,
Is like nothing you’ve ever felt before,
It’s like someone’s ripping your heart out,
It’s like someones cutting you open,
It’s like someone’s trying to drown you,
Drown you in your own tears,
So hold on to her for as long as you can,
Hold her because nothing lasts forever,
Take us for example,
In love one minute,
Your gone the next,
So I hope your happy with her,
Happier than you were with me,
I hope she makes you smile,
and fills your heart with glee,
So when you finally tell me,
Tell me your heart belong to someone else,
I won’t be so surprised,
I won’t feel like I’m in hell,
I’ll be be prepared,
To leave you instead of you leaving me,
I will save myself the tears,
The tears I would’ve cried,
Enough to fill the sea.
