An unconditional, & precious love, that got left behind.

Keri B Miller 1992 (Wv)

Hurt, depressed, and broken inside.

The true love, I once had, has left us behind.

With no signs or knowledge that he was going to leave; my true love, my best friend, has up and left my son and me.

A hug, a kiss, and an "I love you, I'll be back shortly baby to pickup you two!" were his last words to us. Who would have knew?

Watching the clock as hours went by; he never came back nor said goodbye.

He sent my cousin to pickup me and my son, and told my cousin to tell me that we were done.

He said he was through and didn't want to be with us anymore. Leaving us with nothing but memories, and shattered hearts like busted glass spread across a ceramic tile floor.

Even though John Isaac isn't his son, he's been there with us since day one.

It was the day after our first Easter together, that he up and left us, with no rhyme or reason and nothing to discuss.

I sat in the floor, holding my baby boy tight; balling and crying with all of my might.

My 5-month-old son hugged me as I cried, and looked up at me and softly said, "Dada." I cried even more and said, "Dada went bye bye."
