Memories

Days gone by
looking for what was
Feeling of loss
tears streaming down
Names on a grave
fresh dirt scattered
Listening for what
I can no longer hear
Huddling down
reaching for my heart
Pain of knowing
loss of life
Memories are what
all I have left
