Hiccups

Hiccups

I am sad, I am completely in my own head and the analogue of my mind just will not script.

I am disappointed .

I praise myself for small steps but punish myself for insignificant hiccups.

Hiccups…. They have a similarity to my moods and how I feel; up and down and sometimes you just cannot get rid of that hiccup; annoying, persistent and  uncomfortable feeling hiccup.

I’ve had the hiccups for quite sometime now. and just when I think I’ve mastered the cure I am greeted with its revenge.

I long for a feeling of relief from them hiccups. There up and down gestures, discomfort and sometimes impossible to shake. I was told hold my breath for 30 seconds.

is that the only way to stop my hiccups… to hold my breath .
