Placement

III cast aside my hopes and dreams Into a tumultuous sea of struggle,
One that grips,
And tears me from my life
Not to take pity, choices abound,
Yet the powers leave only a glimpse.

Such aspirations,
Left to mold and rot
Circumstance, an ominous sort
Fate, once deemed turns obsolete

From my desolate chambers,
Dreary
A flicker of light from a stranger,
Too far to grasp within sight,

The flame burns ever bright
And slowly melt my soul
The winds of my essence,
As time lingers forth has distraught,

Once what was bright,
Lost in the darkness.
The sands in the glass
Settle, without redemption.
