A Mother's Love

You survived when they left you naked,
They give you life then they take it.
From the light to the dark,
From whence the dark gave us this spark.
You were cursed with that hunger,
The curse that only can be broke by a lover.
You learned to love yourself,
Then gained the understanding of true wealth.
Hearts you desired no more,
From this place of torment you tore.
The betrayed became two,
You grew into pure hate.
I am the part that still loves you,
You were first then us became too.
You was taken from above all for love,
The meaning of true wealth is within yourself.
This is what drove her to fight,
Every terrible day and every scream through the night.
In order to save her heart she tore herself apart
She became two which is why I write this to you
Father you was her first love the one who betrayed her first
Yes I still say I love you when I know it hurts
Though I understand why sometimes I feel like you didn't try
When I do I want to curl up in a ball and cry
You was the only person who gave us hope
Little did we know you was just strengthening the rope
The other didn't have it
Then you planned it
Which left us devastated
In this state of mind we created
A fate for the core
Human hate is such a bore
Mother and father both
I bring you together for this toast
We have fought for many years
You were by my side, guided me through all my fears
You have strengthened me to the core
Now it is I search for more
I came to be this man
Through his love gave a hand
You are everything that shines bright
Because when people fall into the darkness
You are the light that guides them toward
The position within themselves that will move them forward.
Give me strength. Give me love no I don't ask this from above. Mother you created your creation and even shaped a nation to embrace it.
Even when you were pushed and even when you was shoved and felt unloved you never strayed always to give a Mother's Love.
