Thoughts

What do animals think about?
What really goes on in their head?
Food, shelter, sex, offspring, territory, death, security, water, longevity?
Do they really think about all these?

What does the rooster always think about?
If it will survive the next festive occasion?
What really goes on in his head?
If he will one day become Lord of the flock?
What does the Agama think about?
If it will escape being food for the Kite?
What really goes on in his head?
If it will survive the deadly missiles of naughty boys?

What does the Lion cub think about?
If it will survive into adulthood?
What really goes on in his/her head?
If he/she will ever hunt in the plains of the Savannah?

What does the chick always think about?
If it will escape the claws of the Hawk?
What really goes on in it's head?
If it will avoid being pecked to death?

What do the bees always think about?
If their honey would be stolen by invading humans?
What really goes on in their heads?
If they would find a rich source of pollen

What does the Whale always think about?
If he/she would be harpooned by whalers?
What really goes on in their heads?
If he/she will survive the propellers of ships?

What do animals actually think about?
Do they really have minds?
Or are they just dumb creatures?
What do they think?
Will we humans ever know?
