Death!What do you want?
What does death
want with me
Jesus paid the price
for me on Calvary
don't you know that
I appreciate
life to the fullest degree
its tries to follow both
you and me around
trying to make everything bad sound kind
if I was you
i would do everything
that I can do
to keep it away
so I won't be bound
in grave clothes
or shackles on my feet
or laying in a hole
down in the earth
six feet deep
Lord, I ask you
not to do away with me
I'm gentle, kind and I'm sweet
what does death want with me
can anybody tell me
what does death want with me
I have not been entertaining it at all
no Ouija boards, no vodoo dolls, no sexting on my cell phone
to pull Satan in closer
I owe it nothing
because I never took from it
nothing it had to offer did I ever want
I have everlasting last
since I met Jesus Christ
what what what what
does death
want with me
what what what what
what does death
want with me
its no stranger to the human race
it takes all
no matter what your color, religion or your age
I will not accept its apologize
it takes away your beauty and your grace
Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting
everybody needs to know
it is all made up of sin
I want to keep running free
death is beneath me
The mornings they welcome me
I will arise, get up and do what God called me to be
Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting
you refuse to tell the truth
so that many more will enter in
what does death want with me
what does death want with me
why does it keep tugging
and pulling at me
what what what what
does death
want with me
what what what what
what does death
want with me
