We, the people

US-of-A
The land of the "free"
Home of the "brave"

Brave enough to stand up?
No.
Free enough to speak?
No.
Proud enough to defend it?
No.

We are not proud
We are not loud
We do not care
For our country Is not fair

We are not proud
Of the politicians
Who smash
thrash
and destroy
Communities

We are not loud
About the cops
Who Scare
Threaten
and abandon
the people they protect

We do not care
For other people
Who lie
cheat
and hate
The same people we do

We are not one-
We are not none-
We are not "Ex pluribus Unum"

We are all for themselves-
For, we do not care
We are not loud
We are not proud
Of the US-of-A

We scream, "DAMN YOU!"
In our homes-
We yell, "HELP US"
from our laptops-
We howl "NO MORE"
From our hearts-
But no one is there to listen
In the US-of-A

We, "The people" Do not control,
WE, "The .1%" control.
We, "the people" Do not live
We, "The .1%" Live.

We the people are done
You may say we want to be lazy
You may say we do not care for ourselves
We, the people, are simply silent.
Because We, the people, screech to ourselves.
We, the people, need help.
We the people, in the US-of-A.
