He's Gone

Stephen Conway 1946 (Seattle)

When You Say You love meI know it's just a lie,
Then tonight I'll wave to you goodbye!
I'm leaving on the morning train,
And I'll never come back again.
I'm just packing my trunk and suitcase ,too,
And I'm trying to get as far away as I can from you.
Then you went and took all my money,
And I was left here to cry.
Please don't tell me a lie?
Now dear, the show is over and we are all thru,
I'm leaving on the morning train,
( Please come back again)
The train is slowly moving down the track,
It's leaving for Chicago,
And I'm never, never gonna come back.
