HER

Jere' Newsome 1982 (Valdosta,Ga)

It's  her that calms my storm with just a thought of her smile.
It's her that warms my soul when I gaze into her eyes.
It's  her that can control my thoughts and she's never around.
It's her that I've lone for for quite awhile.
It's her that I've never laid hands upon yet  can feel her from miles.
It's her love I intimately, passionately gracefully yearn.
Being that rejection has never been a good nature of a scorned.
It's her that will never know how I truly see her.

About this poem

It's knowingly unknown infatuation that turns into intensely lonely love.
