Free verse
Man has always been so confined
Like a name clung to a person
And he has thought of the golden eagle all along
Man has always been so confined…
And it is only now that he has realized it.

Man has always been so lonely in the crowd
Like a scarecrow in the cornfield
And he has thought of mingling with the unseen in the space
Man has always been so lonely in the crowd…
And it is only now that he has felt it.

Man has always been so masked
Like a Brutus hiding his true colors
And he has spoken of transparency all along…
Man has always been so masked
And it is only now that he has seen it.
