The Rays of His Love
Christine L Arends 1966 (Los Angeles)
January 22It’s a wet and dreary day,
Yet the sun is shining bright.
The gloom lingers closed by,
While sun rises high into the sky.
My mood is low and blue,
As the Joy of Jesus is within the suns rays.
It’s catchy, this glow that comes from high,
His glorious gift of light, so we may see.
I feel my heart lift up high,
Basking in the rays of his love.
I start to soar above as he shows his love,
Taking in the vast amounts that he has given us.
Bringer of light, bringer of joy and bringer of love,
Come bring me peace, come bring me happiness.
Bringer of life, bringer of man, bringer of all,
Come bring us together as one nation.
