Retalic Always

Your presence arouses my senses.
Each time you enter the room.
Your deep blue eyes undress me, each time you look my way...
And I'm yearning for you to say: " PLEASE STAY!"
Your eyes say "I love you ", but the tongue says no.
It's been a lifetime ago...
But I can still feel your first touch!
With my eyes Awoken!! I still see YOU!
Like YOU used to see me!!
And for a moment I feel like a woman.

I feel ME!

About this poem

was hung up on true love but didn't truly love me back for a very long time. Now I just don't look his way!

I live in South Africa. I am a qualified debt collector and I have collecting debt for the corporate industry for more than 20 years. My dream is to publish a book one day. When I grow up. I love writing poetry and I try to challenge myself to try different styles and techniques. I love this site and think its amazing how this site has inspired me to push myself further. I don't think of myself as a professional writer but only a person that has a passion for poetry and wants to learn as much as I can.
