Can’t Let Go
You brought me into this world even though you had a choice,
Abortion or adoption you were my voice.
You tried to lift my spirits when I felt low,
You were the one person I never wanted to let go.
You were in pain and were confined to your bed,
Just the thought of your pain comes rushing to my head.
You were there when no one else wanted to be,
An unconditional love that was only found in you mommy.
You brought me into this world but I want you to know,
No matter how hard I try mom, I Can’t Let Go!.
About this poem
This poem is in dedication to my mom whom regardless of her pain due to her fatal illness always tried to be there for her kids until the day of her passing. Rest in Heaven Mom.
