Liberty Law
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
See it better than another,
As another sees all the same;
Perception comes from each other,
Convinced as each one would proclaim.
The one who would observe the day,
Observes it to honor the Lord;
Eating after he goes to pray,
That God is honored and adored.
For yourself, no one lives or dies,
If we live, we live for the Lord;
Knowing that He opens your eyes,
When anointed oil is poured.
For Christ had died and lives again,
Both for the dead and the living;
Because He erased all your sin,
Since the Father is forgiving.
Why pass judgment on your brother,
Of your brother do you despise?
Judgment is cast by another,
Who is noble and very wise.
For to Him, every knee shall bow,
And every tongue shall then confess;
While taking a solemn vow,
That Jesus is Lord who will bless.
Each of us will give an account,
Of all the wrongs faced in your life;
Confession for actions you surmount,
Resulting in toils and strife.
