I Never Win

I never win, Win I never
It seems that someone is
always more clever...than I
Kids win when they cry, smile
or sigh
Seniors when they die...and go
to heaven, that is
But me, I am always doing my
thing, second string...never
amount to much of anything
I never win, Win I never
as even my mind is more clever...
than I. It knows my limitations
situations and trepidations
It runs from confrontations in
relations....ships, that is
Win, I never..I never win
but tomorrow, I will begin again.
