Jennie's Poem

Daniel J. Sirianni 1989 (Pennsylvania)

Please don’t cry. I know you weren’t ready, but God said it was time for me to leave. You showed me so much love and filled my heart with joy, more than anyone could believe.
This place is so beautiful, it’s a sight to see. There’s even a special spot up here that God made for me.
I’m always watching over you, no matter where you are. When you need me the most, I’ll never be too far.
I’ll hold you tight and guide you throughout the day. I’ll be there to grant you peace as you sleep the night away.
I’m counting the time until we meet again. I’ll be sitting in my special spot, which was made just for me, in God’s flower garden.

About this poem

For a very special woman who was a like grandmother to me. She was an amazing woman who loved her family, friends, and flowers. Her smile would light up the room. In Loving Memory of Jennie Gulisek
