the sun

senor bread and cheese 1858 (Paris) – 1894 (Toronto)

I feel its power beating down on me
within my heart I feel its power
coursing through my veins

it warms me in the summer
it dissapears in the night

but truly, deep down inside me
I know know its true power
and that if I should get too close
I would burn to a crisp
