Free
She sat there on her own
bored as can ever be.
writing poems alone
dreaming of being free
She can never be free
with this plague in the world.
So she day dreams with glee
to a fictional world.
There, her imagination runs wild
from royalty and fancy castles
to things that leave you often beguiled.
like her dad, in skirt with a gavel.
There she dreamed her wildest dreams
from being superheroes
to being high class wizards
with very cool looking staffs.
In her imaginative world
eyes open to finally see.
To dream of a sorrow less world
where she can finally be free.
About this poem
my imagination can bring up weird things.
