Free verse

Softly fallen petals

peeking through

 hardships of life

Bringing through tomorrow's

hope

their thorny branches gently

bloom

in full rich  brightness of color.

About this poem

Reflective on life moments bloomimg like a rose. The beautiful fragrant flower. At the peak there's softness of dewy petals. A whisper fall through the very painful hit or miss of the raspy touch of thorns. Reminder to all that if there's hardship be ever so gentle like a rose. For you will find abiding hope.
