The Day I Was Born

I came out in a heartbeat,
The first sound I made was a cry,
Their love for me was elite,
I could feel them standing by

I was tiny when I came out,
So I've heard,
I loved drinking milk,
And kakoo-d like a bird

I was chubby and red,
But- I would always cry,
When it was time for bed!

My favorite things to do:
Was to-play in the garden,
and fiddle with my dog's ear,
I'm sure these phases are done!
