Enabled Fables

Living to delude,
A way of life that includes...
Truth to mix with sweetened fiction.
Will and can produce,
The feeding of fed minds defending...
Tall tales told.
Based solely on enabled fables sold.
By those who know too well,
How to embellish...
Stories to tell that become tradition.
And...
As time moves on,
So do many minds who lose...
Never again to find,
A reality gone nolonger defined as true!

'Okay.
Now...
If a reality is gone,
To nolonger define as true.
Then...
Who's truth is it are we living?'

'That depends upon,
What decade you were born.
And which TV shows were popular.'

'Whew!
That's a relief.
I thought you were going to mention,
Social media, chat rooms.
And meeting folks I never knew existed.'

'Well...
They did.
But also didn't,
Until the internet was created...
To establish that as a possibility!'

'So...
The Storks,
Were flying around all that time?
Awaiting to deliver you?'

'Wow.
You're joking right?'

'Just because this happens to be,
An adult education class...
Doesn't mean all of us came prepared,
To know everything.
I know I don't.
No one does.
And neither do you!'

'Uh...hmmm...
You're right.
I apologize.
But realize this...
No one here as I know of,
Has been delivered by a Stork.
Birds or bees.
Or...
Without the kicking of boots.
Sheets to wet from heated sex,
Did the trick.'

'So you are trying to tell me,
A doing of the 'nasty' got us here?'

'Sex is not a nasty act.
This is God's way of creating,
Images of 'Himself' to bring life...
As we know it to appreciate it more.
How old are you people?
This should have been taught to you,
Long before you dropped out of school.
To come back to earn your G.E.D.'

'We are here to learn.
Not to be judged.
And please...
Don't say a thing to us,
About that 'critical race stuff'.
That's why the minds of our kids,
Are messed up today.
Trying to make them believe...
All that diversification talk,
Is what they need to become successful.
Claiming the World is changing!
The World ain't changing.
It's people like you that want...
Our ancestors seen,
As less intelligent...
Than the pioneers, inventors and thinkers,
They actually were.
Don't try to fool us we all know,
Our rights to protect truth for what it is!'

'There are times I wish I was not,
So...
Devoted to my belief,
Being honest opens all doors.'

'There are times I wish,
That draft I feel coming from your attic...
Is a hole and not a door.
In need to be closed.
But a big hole in need to be cemented.'

'You are so right.
Let's stop this B.S.
And just watch rented movies.'

'Duh!
Who said that over an hour ago?
But no.
You wanted to discuss the birds and bees.
And how nasty storks knocked boots,
With our parents.
Like we be the dumb ones!'

'God?
Please don't get angry with me.
If I begin to question Your existence.
But God?
Even YOU have to admit,
Something is going on that is beyond...
Your control.
And...
It's okay.
However...
Is there a possible way,
You can admit this?
Without the chaos and havoc.
With You just sitting back?
To watch what happens next?
It's just a suggestion that's all it is!'
