I'll stand

Melissa R king 1985 (Mansfield ohio)

I stand tall I stand proud I stand strong , but I won't lie cause sometimes I may break I may fall I may cry sometimes but that's just me becoming the woman I have always dreamed of being one day .

I stand alone I stand down I stand behind the lines at times. i just want to believe that I'm not afraid to face my fears or my challenges anymore .

I stand with my head held high ,I stand with a smile on my face I stand with a giving heart cause I know it's right , I fight the fight I stand on my own with each and every challenge I take in life that may pray I'll one day have the whole I'm missing inside of me .

So I stand and shout out to everyone I have ever known . And I'll stand an shout out I'll never back down to all who have told me you'll never make it in life and I'll stand and shout out that's what makes me different from all of the rest of the world because im not alone .

Faced my fears wipped my tears put a smile on my face gave god my grace and said to the world I stand here today with these wings I'll fly away and I'll make you proud of who I am and who I have become ok in life .

If only you could see me now if only you could have watched me grow if only you could tell me your proud and watch me through and through while I become who I am now.
