The big day.

You trim your bush,
I shape my vine.
It won't take a big push,
to give in to your design.

You take your floral perspective,
while I mow the lawn.
Preparations for our objective
we'll be done by dawn.

At last the sun has risen,
now finally the bathtub.
Before our annual tradition,
inspection by the topiary club.
