poisoned wine

your love spilled wine on that white Ralph Lauren dress shirt of mine

but now your love is gone

and the stain still remains,

I don’t want your remains

so I scrub, scrub, scrub

but it seems the harder I scrub

the bigger the stain becomes,

f*ck, f*ck, f*ck

how am I expected to live with that stain?

I could throw out the shirt

however that would be unfair

because of how many nights I spent talking to you wearing it,

and I could simply use bleach

but I don’t want to ruin your ghosted sweet scent,

I just don’t want the stain you left behind
