She Went With a Clink

She Went With a Clink
She went with a rattle, a jingle then jangled, then twinkled
She went with a myriad of words that were shouted, then screamed
Then whispered, then waved, then
Screamed with the silence
She went with a tremor a shake and a shiver
She bowed down the rafters, she weighted then waited
Then with a crack, she brought down the timbers
That held and then fell
Then broke with a shake, then quietly softly, eased shut the door
She went with a shimmer, a bend in of light
In phosphorescent waves, a crackling meteor
Dazzled then blackened, shot from a cannon
Rolled from a mountain, in the sky, my Queen, the sky
She went like a blade dropping in a guillotine
Quarters passing in a passing exchange
She suddenly and drastically went oblivious
Driven like a damned nail across my lovely machine
My lovely machine went gasping for air
Bartered, then breathed she took all there was
She went like a light flutter in a rising flame
A loose stone on a path kicked over again
She shuddered like crazy and she was removed
Rolled from a mountain, pure white light, rehabilitated machine
