Three of us
Wibo 2003 (U.P)
........Three of us..........
In cold spring night,
Two people are hunting at night.
Just look up , we are both under the same starry sky.
I was staring at him, standing alone under the blossom tree.
Now only his shadow was left,
A young man was having a good dream on the river.
Across the river he was looking for someone.
In the tender night of full moon light,
I left my hometown, and set out in search for a soulmate.
I don't care if I'll ever be able to come back here.
Lotus flowers propelling my boat ,
amidst in the cold winds.
Clouds float like work art,
Stars shoot with grief at heart,
The floating world is like a dream,
And i whispers my thoughts to the winds.
A jug of wine among the flowers,
I drink alone, under the moonshine without a partner.
I raising my cup, and invited the moon,
But he cannot understand my enjoyable drinking.
My shadow only trails along,
I sturn the strings, and play a song.
My shadow dancing in step along,
The moon is a close friend with lotus pond.
The moon swaying as i sing,
Lotus pond also dance with winds.
A gentle mist blows, on the shore,
My shadow only follow silently wherever i go.
Our meeting beyond the heavens,
I cherished every moment we are together.
Make our friendship out of the secular world forever,
Meet next time in the sky together............
