Belonging

I want so much to belong,
To feel that my bones have settled
In the right place,
And that I am safe and held.

I want so much to laugh,
A really loud, belly shaking chuckle
With my closest people,
And to be part of the crowd.

I want so much to know,
Deep down to my core
That I have been found,
And I am in the right place and time.

I want so much to travel,
To see all the magical places
With spirits like my own,
And to know that I am home.
