An ode to my brain

Camden Walton 2010 (North Carolina)

You are like a parent to me
Your work is apparent to me
You are like a bee
You work hard and are free like me
You're a thunderstorm
You're full of lightning
All thoughts make a bang
And then there's a ding
A most wonderful thing
This is an ode to my brain
Which makes me know pain
Thoughts are like Summer rain
Constantly coming
Like a flood of ideas
And a tsunami of creativity
You help me hop, skip, and run
Under the warm sun
You help me see everything in Maine
An ode to my brain
