You Will Know Them

You Will Know Them
Author: Mark V. Markov

Jesus Christ said
You will know them
By their works
You will know them
By their actions
You will know them
By their fruits

That includes
You will know them
By their teachings also
That includes
You will know them
By their teachings

Unknowingly or knowingly
With a teaching contrary to Jesus Christ
The pastor or preacher
Shows that he or she
Is an adversary to Christ
The definition of the devil is
An adversary

Jesus Christ said
You will know them
By their works
You will know them
By their actions
You will know them
By their fruits.

While a person is alive
He or she has a chance
To change
To make it right
God desires that none should perish.
But that all have an everlasting life.

How can one?
Who lives on works
Who lives on the majority
of the Ten Commandments of God
Deny works?
And say that it is a false teaching.

We are given grace
But God still wants us
To live by the commandments
If we don't live by the commandments
We cannot be Christ like
We cannot be a Christian
For if you continually break the commandments

Then you are
A thief
A murderer
An adulterer
The one who dishonors
His father and mother
An idol worshipper.

To be a Christian
Just as an example
The Christian
Does not commit adultery
Does not steal
Does not murder
Does not dishonor his father or mother
Has God as number one
Does not have idols.
If you continually break these commandments
Then you are not a Christian.

Yet, only grace and not works pastor or preacher
Still keeps those commandments.
But tells others indirectly
They don't need to live by
The commandments
Because it is works.

They say that God
Loves everyone no matter what
We all need to live by grace
We don't need to follow
Any commandments
Or obey anything that Jesus Christ
Had instructed or commanded.

Yet, Jesus Christ said
The Ten Commandments
Are the definition
Of the two
Love God with all your heart
Soul and mind
And love the other
As your self
In those two
Are the Ten Commandments.

He said
By obeying the Two Commandments
We know Him
And He knows us

We can't deny the teaching
Of Jesus Christ
And still expect to be in His kingdom
We cannot teach others
To ignore and to disobey God.

That is contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ.
The one who teaches that to others
Is an adversary
Since he or she
Is teaching contrary.

Instead of obedience to God
He or she
Preaches and teaches
Disobedience to God.

The main purpose of satan
The accuser, liar, and murderer
Is to make sure that people
Don't know the truth
And lose their salvation.

Jesus Christ said
You will know them
By their works
You will know them
By their actions
You will know them
By their fruits.

While a person is alive
He or she has a chance
To change
To make it right
God desires that none should perish.
But that all have an everlasting life.

How can one?
Who lives on works
Who lives on the majority
Of the Ten Commandments of God

And love the other

Luke 18:3 (ESV)
And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Give me justice against my adversary.

Hebrews 10:26-27 (ESV)

26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

1 John 2:3  (ESV)

And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 3:24 (ESV)
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him.
And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Exodus 20
English Standard Version

The Ten Commandments

1 And God spoke all these words, saying,

2 "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3 "You shall have no other gods before me.

4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work,

10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant,
or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

13 "You shall not murder.

14 "You shall not commit adultery.

15 "You shall not steal.

16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.

18 Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraidd and trembled, and they stood far off

19 and said to Moses, You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.

20 Moses said to the people, "Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin."

21 The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

Matthew 22:36-38 ESV

36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"

37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

38 This is the great and first commandment.

39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.

Mark 12:29-31 (ESV)

29 Jesus answered, "The most important is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'

31 The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.

Luke 10:27 (ESV)

And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."

Hebrews 10:26-31 (ESV)

26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God,
and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified,
and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people."

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
