Street Lamp

A lone lamp standing on its shadow in the dark night

A tumultuous day has fallen asleep like a baby

Whom are you trying to shine on

Only the orange colored wind talks to you

Cold dews and blinking stars

Staring at each other chatting

Old trees poised like samurais lined up on the street

Expecting your review

A squirrel with its tail curled up like the fruit of a tree

Bathed in your maternal gaze

The wind can't pick it despite several attempts

yet was left with dendritic scars

This quiet world feels like before the birth of all mankind

Are you planning a different tomorrow?

Street lights in the dark night

Alone sowing seeds of light

Spread like water to the deepest distance of darkness

When the arrival of dawn brightens every inch of the limitless land

Hundreds of millions of eyes embrace the morning’s  greetings

Who will remember you last night

You with the filament burning in your heart

You who has lighted up alone in the dark
