Don't.

Don’t let them say you can’t
They can’t see your cards
Don’t let them say you’re weak
Keep bluffing until they realize
You have the game in your hands
You have the winning flame
Keep strong, smile and do your thing
They don’t need to know you pray

Show them who you are
Don’t need to be tough
touch them with you heart
Make them know you name
Don’t worry about the time
You’ll never be the same

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes
They are there and you’ll be sure that they will make your great
Don’t forget to be kind
Don’t forget to look in your mind and you’ll find
The reason you’re here for
The reason you’ll be smiling after the storm

Keep your feet in the ground
Open your arms and take a deep breath
Close your eyes and make your wishes
Don’t forget you’ll be intact

Forget about what they say
Their opinion won’t change your essence
Let go all your fears
Stand your head up and just believe

Don’t let them tell you ‘you can’t’
They know nothing about your battles
They know nothing about your fights
If they can see the pain in your eyes
You’ll be crucified

Accept your flaws
Embrace your tears
Learn how to trust in your heart
Don’t let your brain apart
You have a dream to conquer!

About this poem

Really personal, but too relatable to keep it to myself.
