Some wish

Some people wish they could fly, knowing they never will. Some people are more simple and only wish for a piece of their grandmother's pie. But Oh no, not I, I wish to be cold and emotionless inside. Now tell me why the cat and hat didn't teach me that? Maybe then my heart would still be intact. May be Green Eggs and Ham could've warned me that no one ever really gives a damn. It's a damn lucky day, even if all you had was ham. Instead, looking around struggling with all the chaos, everything is so confusing. Hate these ugly fucking feelings they pull you under trying to smoother picking just the right time to slap you with a burner. From inside their preying the demons singing for your demise. Feeling the demon's claws sink farther in your mind. Wishing to be cold and emotionless. Then there wouldn't be anything left for the demons to take leaving you bloody and bruised.
