Darkness

I can no longer see the light ahead
I see sorrow sadness and nothing instead
It’s a familiar feeling I have been here before
I lack the strength to fight it anymore
I can no longer laugh or fake a smile
I can’t hide the tears as I did for awhile
Not really sure what I do from here
The past is gone and the future I fear
