0815
A sudden brightness and then nothing
Where people once stood, shadows fall
Bones to dust, buildings crushing
Darkness looms, a cloud so tall
Silence, other than a deep rumble fills the town
Life stands still for a moment but then there's a sound
A whimper, a child crying
A woman praying, everything dying
Ash and dust cause a swirling haze
An armless man walks, eyes glazed
Screams start to fill the air
The silence is broken
Bewilderment, confusion, they begin to mumble ominously "This isn't fair"
What demon's wrath have they awoken?
Bodies melting, puddles of flesh and blood boiling
A pile of blackened bones fused to the pram of their child
People crawling, the toiling
A once beautiful and bustling town, defiled.
