Thoughtful Irrational Actions

We seem to do our very best,
To protest against any tarnishing...
Of our image to state and display it,
As great as the taste of grandma's...
Delicious homemade apple pie.
Done to debate and argue over,
Which apples were selected and picked...
To create the craving of that deliciousness.

We go out of our way to have it believed,
No other people on GOD'S EARTH...
Are on a mission to be peacekeepers.
And ethnically diversed.
For the World to observe witness and see.

Yet...
Technically behind the scenes,
This wholesomeness to prove...
Done effectively internally?
On these shores of democracy.
Has its flaws and blemishes to correct.
Upsetting the many who prefer to keep,
Their dirty laundry hidden.
Underneath a fiction,
To deny such depictions.

Conflicts in need to be prioritized,
And honestly addressed.
Are perceived to be wounds,
To have long gone and healed.
But there are those left,
Unable to accept intentions meant...
A doing of the right thing.
Done to do at its best.

And if the right thing to do,
As decades and centuries...
Have come to go.
At least we have been told,
By those who show to make it known...
Who is entitled to excuse,
Anything wrong they do to choose...
A blaming on someone else.
Thoughtfully.

'Boss?'

'What now?'

'It seems those enemies we created,
Are upset and confused...
As to what they should do and believe.'

'Why?
Didn't they get the memo?
We are going to provide them safe,
And peaceful passage to other shores.'

'Yeah.
That memo the did receive.
But several at the airport,
Are claiming they have 1st class seats.
And others are producing documents,
That prove them to be vegetarians.
With meals prepared
By their personal chefs.'

'So...
What's the problem?
I don't understand.'

'Well...
It seems their chefs,
Enjoyed being labeled terrorists.
And refuse to leave behind,
Those wide TV screens we gave to them.'

'What is going on?
I don't believe this.'

'I didn't either.
Until I saw them myself.
Arguing over...
Who between them,
Got better TV coverage.
Portraying themselves as evil terrorists.'

'Okay!
I have had enough.
Call the authorities at the airport.
And you tell them,
Regardless who is or not vaccinated.
Either to board those planes.
Or stay where they are.
TV coverage or whatever.
I have had it with all of this B.S.
And...
Do your best to be as thoughtful,
As you possibly can.
We don't want our image,
Further damaged.
That's all we need,
Is our patriotic citizens back home...
Grieving over how we left our enemies,
Abandoned.
Without airlifting them to safe shores.
These times we live,
Call for thoughtful irrational actions.'
